Daddy's batch won the tournament last 2 years. So mommy thought that this time around, the champion would be from her batch instead... and lucky coincidence our team had an import, a hustler that has just won a champion league http://www.axa87.blogspot.com/(axa) i.e. as what the team shouts as 'bini http://masa-lapang.blogspot.com(arop)'. LOL There were 12 teams. As usual the 88s were the dominator who sent in a batch of 3 teams. Have said they had more chances in winning... and they did! Our batch turned out to be at the 3rd place. Okaylah tu! I personally as the team manager (ehem) was very proud of my players. Thanks guys for the fun and memorable day out. Kita cuba lagi di tahun2 mendatang untuk merangkul pulang piala pusingan tu yer! ;-) After bowling, we met for the AGM (which stands for Annual General Meeting @ Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan yer tuan puan). It was time to dissolute the previous committee and to incorporate the new one. It was a privilege for me as a committee member to have worked with the enthusiastic team of prestigious seniors (& juniors) for the past 2 years. They were the most meticulous team i have ever worked with! Thank you all for having and above all trusting me to be part of the committe. It was a special day... for the little girl and for us! The memories showered back our thoughts... it has already been a year since she filled our days with wonders. She's our little one that was sent from above. The one who colours our routines with joyful cheers & laughter. She's the cheeky one who makes us wiggle in delight. She's our little girl, our precious... ~Nuraz Zafreen Dania~ We had a simple celebration on the exact date of her birthday. Brought the kids out for dinner. Zafreen loves strolling out for fresh air. Daniel gave way for her baby sister to enjoy her nite and slept all through the time we were out. It's her day... let her alone be pampered. At the age of ONE, Zafreen has achieved quite of number of milestones like normal 1 year old would. She now... * waves bubbye * claps her hands * mumbles alot * points her finger out to something (this is really cute!) * hums with excitement when she hears the azan prayers * crawls at quite an impressive speed * climbs up the stairs with no problems * will cry her lungs out when she's not attended at her will * throws her arms out for someone to carry her (only to her favourites) * 3 of her teeth have made their debut (2 of the upper part) * loves listening & dancing to music * concentrates without blinking an eye when watching her favourite tv shows (same way daniel did; they now watch Little Einstein together in bed) * starting to walk on her own with a little help of a finger hold * says "mam mam mam" which refers to makan * lurrrrrvessss food! (nothing like the brother who refuses to eat!) * will always try to demolish every block towers made i.e. lego @ jengga Pre-Party: Costume fitting Everything were sewn with lots of love for our beautiful Princess Nia (& Prince Aladdin too!). Ideas & designs were creatively (& surprisingly astonishing) done by Uwan, Maklong, Mommy & Bibik. ;-) And yea, we are so proud of ourselves! It's just the time that has been the major constraint, apart from my mood. Erks. Neway, there have been tooo many developments since. Too many to list them down. I will try my best to remember the good ones, those to be remembered and smiled to. Well here goes... Daniel: has been veerrrrry fluent in his daily speech. He speaks clearly word by word since 2. Those who have heard him talk, knows how daniel utters his speech word by word. He is still the low appetite boy, which explains his size. Still drinks his milk spoon fed and says TAKNAK merely to everything. Ni hasil tengok iklan katakana TAKNAK lah ni agaknyer. That's his favourite word. Taknak makan, taknak susu, taknak pakai baju, taknak sekolah, taknak mandi... and the list goes on... :hopeless: He has started going to school early this year. He's only 28 months when we enrolled him. The first day was a terrible one for all of us. Of course he cried when we left. And as expected, uwan & mommy cried too. Trust me, it's not easy leaving your baby for the first time. He was crying his lungs out. Owh. :-S Neway, time passes by. He got better and started to enjoy school within a fortnite, but he has never spoken out anything about school thou. A big no no to school-related conversations. At least the school will help him in his socializing. He’s a lil bit timid as everyone knows. But since he's been in school, i have noticed that he has gained more of his confidence. He’s brave enuf to go on the rides on his own and even put the coins in by himself. Before the only thing that could bring him down was to offer him coins and start the rides. Plus, he was brave enuf to enter competitions and also talk out loud in public. At one time, he was entering the clinic when he gave his salam out loud to the people inside. :groucho: Daniel and his adik Zafreen: He is usually most of the time annoyed by the idea that mommy is always attending to adik. Whenever it’s time for me to breastfeed zafreen, that’s the time when he wants mommy. He’s often jealous of his baby sister. He’ll snatch away any toys that she’s holding or even pinch any part of her that he can get hold of. There are also times where he does play with her. He was more of a loving & caring brother before he went to school. When he wants to play zafreen’s toys, he’ll go “Kita main sama-sama yer…” Kalau toy dia, dia tak bagi adik dia main. “Ini boy punyer!” If mommy/daddy scolds him, he’ll go… “Sorry mommy, sorry daddy” Anakku ini dijaga oleh bibik di waktu siang. So here are some of his Indon dialogues that I have heard. "Daniel nak makan coco crunch tapi dah habis... Ait, masiiiih adaaaaa lagiiiii?!" “Abang bilang toy ini tajam! Kang abang babab kang!” “Car jalan-jalan lepas tu masuk kolong” :lol_fast: :oh_god: “Sempit uwan… geser uwan… Daniel sempit” “Daniel naik basikal, adik bonceng belakang ya” Kadang-kadang pelik jugak mana budak2 ni belajar. They listen! “Mommy pergi mesyuarat kat mana?” Ntah mana dia belajar perkataan mesyuarat tu pon tatau... “Daniel tengok fish kat aquarium jauh sana. Ada shark, ada big whale, ada dolphin, ada nemo.” Daniel is still obsessed with animals and trucks & lorries! He knows his animals really well! Iguana, eagle, paarot, shark, scorpion and of course all other common ones. And he just can’t resist to turn his back off an excavator, which he calls Scoop; a character from Bob The Builder. Daniel has very good memories which he usually keeps to himself first. What i mean is, he’s an observant and he’ll project out his memories anytime at home. Last CNY we went to AFamosa. He looked stunned when he we watched the carnival, but at home he was soo excited telling atok how fun it was at the carnival. He wore his cowboy hat, held the remote as a mic and imitated the MC who hosted the carnival. “Elephant kuar… Camel kuar… Choo choo train kuar… Cow kuar… “ and everything else that he remembered. When he forgets, he’ll pause and ask, “ Lagi apa daddy?” At one time, when we were about to attend a birthday party, he asked, “Kita nak pergi birthday party siapa mommy?” “Kita nak pergi birthday party kawan Daniel.” “Kawan Daniel siapa?” “Kawan Daniel ****.” “Irfan ada?!” I was shocked. It has been like 4 months ago Zubye & co. came to our house to send the Aqiqah’s pictures. That’s how long he has laid his thoughts back. :idea: Recently, after 2 months going to school, at 30 months of age, Daniel can now recite his Bismillahhirrahmanirrahim and doa makan. Cute sangat mulut dia baca. “Bismillah hiloma nilohim” So, everytime before meals, we let him lead the doa. And another thing that amazes me is that he’s able to recite Al-Fatihah! Whoa… agak kagum jugaklah dengan anak ahkak nan seorang ini. I am so happy to be blessed with these children of mine. Alhamdulillah… That’s how incredible their mind work. Well, to me at least!
